The local chapter of Contemplative Outreach is thrilled to offer a Centering Prayer Workshop as well as an opportunity to experience an International United in Prayer Day! Centering Prayer is a form of silent meditation based on the wisdom teachings of Jesus where participants learn to be still, to let go of typical thoughts and emotions, staying attentive to Divine Indwelling. Through two daily 20-minute prayer periods practitioners develop an ever-increasing awareness of God's presence and action in the course of ordinary life.
This Introductory Workshop will be presented by Contemplative Outreach of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky (COGCNKY) at New Thought Unity Center. The program will be led by Bill Tonnis, Gina DiGirolamo, and John Orr, commissioned presenters of Contemplative Outreach.
